I am running HH's with filters and think I may try returning to the stock weights. If I drill out the tip rivet will this be enough to get me near 10,400 for RPM's? I feel the Stockers may offer a better top end than the HH's.

Here is what you should do. Install the stock weights & watch rpm,s from holeshot to top speed. You want 10k holeshot to I am guessing somewhwere around 10,500 top end. Get a gram scale. Drill enuff mass out of both rivets if needed to get you here.

I am running the primary weights with the tip rivet out, gained 200 rpm vs stock. Have the pink Yamaha secondary spring at 3/3 twist or 60 degree and the yellow-green-yellow in the primary. Also have the ecp filter kit. Going to try the 6-1 twist 70 degree to see if I get any gains on the holeshot.

the only time i any trouble pulling 10500 even with a totaly stock sled was when my center to center got pull closer to gether. and i have found this same problem on others as well mostly after doing mods like air box or fillters.

Maddog-- I did what Turk said. I removed the tip rivit, with a silver spring wrapped at 80. I only reved to 10 in the holeshot and it stayed there. He told me to try the stock spring and see what happens. I'm going to try it on sunday.
