Here are a couple more.
Put the sled on a stand and check for play between the hyfax and the rails. If someone did not manage the hyfax, there are quite a few Phazers with missing metal on the front of the rails. I pulled the limiter strap up one hole on the two Phazers I have bought. That with a set of scratchers has eliminated the wearing in the front portion of the hyfax.
Bring a flashlight and check the shock shafts for pitting. If the sled has been stored without washing, salt can pit the shafts. Shock repairs/replacements are expensive.
