Good marginal wheel kit?

I have a 07' apex rtx and I was wondering what would be the best marginal wheel kit to put in the area in front of the rear wheels on the skid? There is that 12 to 14 inch area in the back where the slides wear out. I would like something that won't cause a crack in the rails from flexing. Thanks

This is what I did. They are the Ski-Doo wheels and two hole mounting blocks.

I would have to check but, I think that my rails on my skid are made different. They might not be as tall, I think that they aren't as tall.

Yep,you are right. the 07 RTX has different rails than the mono's do.

Fixed power sports has a kit. I use it in the area that you described and works well. On my 2nd season with the kit..

The Yamaha marginal wheel kit works very well, and pioneer performance also sells one that looks very similar to Yamhas.

I just put one (Yami) on yesterday I got off Ebay for $60.00 it installs in the middle range. It took about 10min to put on.
The directions shows installing the wheels on the outside of the rail which I did. Another guy put it inside.

They have a replaceable bearing and the mounts seem very strong.

I replaced all my standard wheels with new larger Polaris wheels. They stick down an extra 1/8th of an inch, just like the Ski Doo wheels. My sled also has the small diameter marginal snow yamaha wheels on the back of the sliders.
I have run 300 miles on hard icy trails with marginal snow conditions without any sticking. The sliders look like new near the Polaris wheels. The sliders are worn down more near the smaller diameter yamaha wheels as expected, but are still good.
If anyone adds the larger polaris or ski doo wheels, remember to machine the shafts in the required .060" to keep the wheels centered. These have wider bearings than the yamaha wheels. If you don't do this machining, the inside wheels will interfere with the track nubs. Wider larger replaceable bearings are a good thing! As another bonus, my Polaris wheels are candy red, to match my sleds color.

I have the yami wheels and don't really have any probs with them but it is that area in the back with no wheels that wears out fast to a point and then stays the same. I just want to get away from that. I had over 3000 miles on the stock set and I could have put many more on them. I have a small yami wheel kit on the way. Thanks for the info.
