since i got alot of experience getting towed by a warrior whats it like
to ride alot of miles on the seat of the rx1 coming off a cat i can sure
thank water boy for his towing services ha ha.

Rumor has it that the Mach Zs are already sold out :drink: And if they weren't, why torture yourself with a first year sled :-o Do yourself a favor and buy the best built sled in the world an RX-1 ;)! ;)! ;)!

It depends on wether you want a 2 stroke or a 4 stroke. I saw the Mach and it was a looker. But it is a 1st year sled and the RX is in it's 3rd year. So....................... :4STroke: :yam:

Hmmmmmmmmmm, tough choice. Raw speed in stock form will most likely be the mach. With some simple mods like the ECP kit you're probably gonna give the Mach all it can handle. Smoothness of the engine goes to the RX-1. Ride should be comparable seeing the RX-1 gets the new rear skid.

Flip a coin, heads go with the RX-1, Tails don't buy the Mach :D

the 05 is also like 30lbs lighter, which will make a difference.

The RX1 will get better gas mileage, wont use too much oil, and will probably last longer in general than the a 2 stroke

Just think. RX1+220HP turbo.

I got one of each comming. I bought the Mach to kick #*$&@ on Dukesters warrior. I hope!! Not going to trail ride it much though. The dealer said he would clutch it right. LaLaLa

I bought it instead of a turbo on my 05 RX1. The turbos I have seen are too loud for me. My Bender exaust was even to loud to ride 10 hours a day for a week. Just my opinion.

No real competition in my mind... We are talking about a 1000 cc twin here... Ski-doo's motors aren't exactly what you would call bullet proof. Wait a year or two on the Mach. Get the 3 year old RX-1. It's got all the improvements that many of us griped about in the past years, will probably give the Mach a run for its money with a couple modifications AND isn't going to be a worry about whether it's gonna stay running.

:moon: :moon: I opted for the MACH when i bought a new sled this year. I had an 03 RX(first year sled) and really didn't have any issues. Just the front W arm int the rear suspension from me hammering through the moguls. Just wanted something different, rode my buddies rev and wanted one instantly. I know the MACH ain't gonna ride like a REV but it'll be better than the RX1. LaLaLa

What makes you so sure, Have you ridden either the new Mach or 05 RX-1? I bet it's alot closer than you think. The Mach-REV has gained weight while the RX-1 has lost it. Tell the truth, you missed the smell didn't you :4STroke:

I'll take the RX-1 anyday ;)! Put the ECP kit and a clutch kit and it will be right with the MACH :-o Ask Dukester! He'll tell ya! :yam:

Did somebody say TURBO!!!! Yeah Baby!! LaLaLa :-o ;)! I guess I won't have to worry. :ORC

Dukester is worried about the Mach being fast. That is why I ordered one so he will have to turbo to keep up. :-o

Once he shakes the turbo out our whole group will be looking at them, if they are quiet and last 10,000 miles with out premature wear on the turbo and Yamaha parts.
LaLaLa
My experience with Doo is their motors dodn't last very long.

Right now my role is to bait other brands into a race with my well set up and loud sled. Then Boss Hog (74 years old) sets the trap and says before you race that hot sled you have to prove you can beat a stock sled with me driving before moving on. They then lick their lips and say lets get it on. He then takes Dukesters sled (same color as his) and proceeds to kiss major #*$&@. :moon: The bet is generally pizza all around.

Why are so many crowning the MachZ king? Sure it has more HP, about 20 more than the Genesis but it's still a twin. I think a well clutched, ECP equipped RX-1 will give it fits. Enough to make the guy wonder why he paid over $10 grand

The weights are getting closer. Like I said earlier, the Mach(REV) has gained weight while the RX-1 went on atkins.

Whatever happens, it's gonna be interesting :4STroke:
