I put them on my sled, but I dropped and rolled the chain case and moved the skid back. I might be mistaken, but I do not believe they will will fit without modification.
thank you for the info. i up dated mine from 8 to 9 in my mountian and now i am gettin ready to put a 136 cat skid under it the 151 is to long for the type of ridin i does. i need more speed you now what i mean. does you or any one got any pictures on the rolled back chain case stock or aftermarket
thanks guy
thanks guy
I guess it might depend on what track height you going to use. With 9t 2.52" pitch with a 2" track, might have 3/4' clearance. You might want to look into Avid's extend chaincase made of some sort of plastic, or Specialty Sleds that is made of alu for $1800cdn, not sure what avid's cost.

you can run 10 tooth drivers and a 1 1/4 track if you remove protectors, not much room for more.

FWIW, Avids extended chaincase is CNC machined out of billet aluminum, not plastic.

I don't have any pictures but will try and take some for you. I made a template for the drop and roll when my brother and I did our sleds but I gave the template away.
thanks i will like to see more what i have to do
The 1st run of the avid chaincase was plastic for you info, didn't know that it went to alu, there website doesn't show it.

Red,
The first prototype (or first couple of pt's) may have been plastic to see if everything fit up right - a common practice in the machining world to carve up an inexpensive piece of task qualified plastic instead of an expensive chunk of aluminum to see if all measurements and tolerences are correct. I know Robbie personally and really doubt that he would sell anything that was not up to the task - and a plastic chaincase sold to be run under power just does not sound right - the cover yes on some styles, but not an RX1 style with the brake on the cover and associated heat etc.....
There are pics on his website that show aluminum CC's (although it looks like it has not been updated lately) Price $750 or $850 usd :

Maybe we are both right? (shrug?)
I bet since Robbie has looked closely into this area a quick call to him would answer Yamaha69's questions.
