Got a slighty missing, staggering, or stumbling Nytro?

Just the adjuster at the handlebars... it had plenty to take up the slack

I think that cured one of my problems. when pinning it from a dead stop or while cruising, the hesitation/stumbling is gone.

now I just have to fix the misfire at a constant 5-6000 rpms.

One member suggested I have spark leakage in one of the coils - gonna tackle that one tomorrow.

thanks moto

tightend my throttle cable on top and still hesitates in the mid, have a pcIII and adjusted that for more and less fuel and still doing it, have excell exhaust but this was doing this in stock setup last season before storage, thought the pcIII would clean it up but it didnt, i also adjusted the bottom gonna check that out again, Question When you tightend the throttle on top, will the throttle go to the handle bars? If anyone has a chance could they feel under the hood to see if the cable has any play on the otherside of the lock nut ? Thanks, Wish I could get lucky and find out whats going on, seems like it runs good in the beginning and top but when i hit the middle it'll cut out, most of the time if i hit the gas all the way to the handle bars, but who wants to do this all day, i would be embarrased for someone to try it out, its getting more and more frustrating, for 10 grand this thing should run like a champ always! SOMEBODY FIND A FIX PLEASE!PLEASE!PLEASE! :exc:

No I Have Not I'm gonna check the throttle again tomarrow, and look and the plugs and wires, look at the air box and i'll check the sync. :o|

just curious does your throttle touch your handle bar all the way? How many miles do you have on your guys sled?

Yes... and 700+mi.

Same issue

I put a super q exhaust system on my seld and cruising at around 50-60 k and i stab the throttle there is a slight hesitation. sounds like a TORS issue but I do not know how to adjust my throttle cable. Bugs the heck outta me!! looking for some good directions. Thanks

With aftermarket exhausts there is a common problem with the sleds running slightly lean. It isn't bad enough to cause engine problems, but is an annoying ridability issue.

The Dynojet PC-V is a good cure... with a properly written base map.

It is possible to bypass the tors system altogether and if you have a tether i would highly recommend it. Nothing worse than heading up a hill in fresh snow and let off and try to get back in it and suddenly no power and over the handlebars you go because of snow in the throttle block.

There is two single pin connectors in the clutch side bundle of wires. You will need to disconnect them from the chassis harnes and plug them into each other, so you will have a black plug into a white plug and same with the wires coming from the handlebars. This will stop the loop to the handlebars and eliminate tors, no more issues!!!!!!

Got pictures of the specific connectors...?

They are the only two single pin connectors on the clutch side bundle coming from the handlebars. Sorry no pics.

As Caleb said, it is in the wiring "umbrella" on the clutch side of the harness oem zip tied to the headlight bracket. Just unplug these connectors from one another.

I HIGHLY recommend against this unless you install a quality tether switch, and wear it religiously - even just crossing the parking lot.

Seriously. Get a tether.
