Today in Upper Michigan it is sunny, and about 40 outside, Me and 3 others did top speed GPS runs on the ice near our homes. My FX Nytro RTX did 110 mph on speedo, 9230 RPM and GPS of 105 mph..
Not bad! The rider was not me, I am 320 lbs, it was my buddy at 140.
Sled has 1100 miles on it.. I sounded sooooooo cool rolling by WTFO!!
The other sled did do a good run. ZR900, blew a belt, skidoo 500ss Blew a belt, and last person didn't not want to risk it..
I did it twice then Wide open home.. Fun fun time!

So the speedo was +5 over gps. Has anyone done a gps run with a TNT or Rev? or compared the Ski-doos to the Nytro's speed readings? I'm asking because my doo friends will say they hit 100 mph and I will only see 95 mph on my speedo when I am next to them doing the same speed. Was thinking Yam reads less, or Doo reads more? Not that it matters or I really care, just noticed it.
