Somewhere in here there is a picture showing many of the different caps , BUT I can't find it 
Mine was easy to remove as it had the cap burnt off and only the sides left.
Small straight screw driver usually is tool of choice. Mine was the headlight ground and
presume 100 watt to one wire just was too much as it also melted insulation below connector.
