I have a gt on order. But today i old forge I rode an attack and was impressed. I rode an apex er and attackover the same course, on ice with some bumps and all 3 in my group felt the attack was better. I have to decide quick, I loved the attack ride, but love the gt looks and shocks. I dont want a pushing sled and do want to keep weight down as much as possible. I drove an 02 venture alot in 02 when my sled was down and the 136 does brige bumps better. Man I wish they made a attack gt in black. help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you like the 136 that much possibly you could convert the GT into a 136. Would probably be expencive but I am sure you wouldn't have any problems selling the stock parts.

Do the smart thing & buy the sled you know will do the job!

ATTAK!!!!!!!

Paint it black & put GT decals on it & BINGO!!!!!!!!!!

I'm painting mine bright red & putting the GT decals on!

Not to bad of a job at all!!!

GOOD LUCK, COME ON DECEMBER!!!!!!!!

GET the ATTACK and loose some wieght somewhere later if it seems to be an issue...but I dont think IMO it will be AT ALL.

I asked the same questions over and over and then thought back to the many times I would be many miles down the "trail from hell" and all I could think was "what the hell am I doing out here" "where are those damn groomers" etc.,.

I wait too long for the time to be able to ride an lets face it, with the popularity of this sport the trails aren't gonna get any better.

While watching the Yamaha DVD I realized two things; The Attak appeared much more stable over the rough stuff and I thought it also looked better on the snow.

Get an Attak :ORC

Decisions, Decisions!!!!!!

You should feel very fortunate to have gotten to try an Attack and Apex. Too bad you didn't get to test the Apex GT. But a least to have a basis to make your decision with. I have a Apex GT ordered for me and I just pray that it was the best decision for the type of riding I do. I live in western NY and our trails are not as beat up all the time by excessive use. We just started to get some decent grooming but that could use some improvement too. Good Luck on what ever you decide. :yam:

The issue I see is the sled (attack) will most likely feel a little more tipsy in the corners and harder to get around than a GT - looking for an srx feel – I think the attack will be worse going around corners than the GT. I’m also thinking of switching to the attack.

The ATTAK is not any tippier in the corners than the Apex and takes to rough trails much better.

Anything that has twice the suspension of an SRX will not rail like an SRX the laws of physics so won't let it.

No Cat has ever railed like the 95/96, same reason higher suspensions with more travel.

I wish I had ridden a Warrior over the past couple of seasons to feel the difference.
I rode a Warrior this spring, the sled feels very heavy on the nose and skis, I ordered an Attak but, I'm second guessing myself because how much I disliked the Warriors feel off trail. This would be my first 4 Stroke, not sure" Jonny Skeptical " about boondocking one of these 575 lb beasts. My next choice would be a C7, downsides are no reverse, fuel milage won't be as good, upsides are, plenty of off-trail power and 90 lbs lighter. Thinking of maybe canceling the Attak :ORC .....Confused to say the least!

Judging from the way my Rage handles compared to the way my buddies 05 warrior is compared to mine and all the improovements they have made on the 06's I'm SURE you will be a HAPPY camper! ;)! ;)!
