I just wanted to let everyone know on TY the final outcome.
As announced earlier on the original award certificate Guinnness sent me, my name was spelled incorrectly.
In a letter to Guinness, I asked them to make the spelling correction and also add to the certificate narrative "Yamaha RS Venture" which they did.
Now, there is no question which brand and model snowmobile has the Guinness World Record for the longest snowmobile journey.

Congratulations Bob on this well deserved award. Having read your thread this past season, I remember a few times when you seemed to dread going again for another day of riding. Glad to see you stuck with objective and achieved your goal.

That's a average of 200 miles per day for 60 days straight.......Wow. I don't know if I would want to drive a automobile at that pace. Congrats again.

Thanks guys,
For Convert,
Nothing but leisure riding... Unless Yamaha makes a balloon...LOL...
For Swiss Sledder,
Thanks Matt,
The last two weeks became very difficult both mentally and physically.
You can see the light at the end of the tunnel but seems to take forever to get there. My anticipation came true, the project became a job after the first week. Averaging 202.71 miles per day was a chore.
Never-the-less we got er done!
I am very happy to see Yamaha on top as well.

Thanks Budweiser,
Thanks Terry and Emily,
I will have plenty of leisure time to ride next year.
Hopefully you can find a long weekend and stay at my place. I think you will like the trails up here on the North side of "The County".
All the best!!!

Bob,
Congratulations!!
Hope we all will be able to afford to ride next year, probabely won't be able to come up to the county but only once, for a week. Hope that with the price of gas people will still go up and that the riding will still be as great as always and it doesn't kill the economy up there.
