Hi guys,
Going to be running a full apex front end with GYTR clickers on my RX and I am wondering if anybody can give me a quick synopsis on teh effects of each setting.
Compression H-->S I assume makes the shock softer or harder and you would use harder in big bumps/moguls and softer on general trail riding
Rebound - not sure what to adjust this to or what effect it has in trail riding. I assume the adjustment is faster or slower, faster making it 'stiffer' but more controllable and slower making it 'softer' but the skis could be off the ground quite a bit in big bumps
RIght now I have them at full soft and 6 clicks or middle for rebound. I generally trail ride groomed trail and ditches in Ia if we have snow so any set up tips would be great. Thanks guys!

the compression setting controls the compression or big bump capability of the shock.. the more compression the larger the bump you can take and vise versa..
The rebound controls how quickly or how slowly it extends after being compressed.. (like right after hitting a big mogal)
For instance.. On my apex gt.. after hitting a huge mogal the rear end kicks up and hits me in the butt, because the shock didnt slow the speed of the shock extension down.. so therefore you would need more rebound compression.. (hense why i had mine revalved for more rebound compression)
Honestly i dont feel that the front shock adjusters really control that much.. (i cant really feel to much of a difference)
It sounds like you have your shocks setup for your riding style and i wouldnt change them..
Hope this helps..

Welt, I agree, I tried many differnt setting last year on the front. Soft or hard really could not tell much differece. It did not make any change to the darting either. The rear shock is where the big change is.I just got mine done at Pioneer. Honk

I think 10-12 work good for me.. been awhile. I can check when I get it out soon.
