Am I the only one that got my weights? They came with 3 springs. I saw a post that said they were going to be delayed till the first of the year. ???

The word was that they are coming apart like their other products. I talked with & too, many people that had HC's come apart & f$$k their primarys up!!! I would talk with the people you got them from before being too excited!!!!!!

GOOD LUCK!

I hope you're wrong about the hammers. Randy, that designed them said they will not break, and only had one verified report of the old style breaking. The old style is one piece of steel, just like any other weight. It uses the stock pins. How could it come apart, or break.

Can you name one person on this site that had one break? I don't remember hearing any specific case, except for someone saying "I heard". You don't think anyone would make up a story to hurt a competitor, do you?

No I haven't complained. I did'nt want another weight under waranty that can possibly do the same again. My clutch got scuffed up, but is still good. Not like other cases I heard about.
I will be bringing the weight to the Toronto snow show and hopfully get a discount on Hamertime weights if they prove to hold up.

Kind of to bad because the HC weights worked well.

Dan,
The owner of HC (Randy) seems to bend over backwards to satisfy customers (in my experience). I'm sure he would give you a refund, after seeing that picture.

I talked to Randy at the show last year. Great guy to talk to and very informative. Hopfully I'll see him this year and I'll show him my brocken weight.

BRX-1, As soon as I busted my weight I hooked a ride with my riding partner to go pick up my srx clutch and used it to bring my sled home.(did'nt want to get towed home :? ) I ran that for a while and ran very well with the #4 clutch weights from Hauck. Maybe a little light for midrange though. After I put the stock weights in, but kept the white primary spring from the HCs and I was surprised how well that ran as well. Did notice a little belt slippage at slower speeds though. I then picked up HH weights and have logged about 3000 kms on them with no problems.
