hand and thumb warmers not working

my freind has a 03 RX1 and the hand and thumb warmers are not working. he claims to have traced it to the CDI box. the sled still runs fine and everything else works, is it possible to have a bad cdi or could something else be wrong?

check

check fuse, i had to replace cdi but not because of that.

Start with the fuse. If the fuse is O.K., then look at the wire connections. CDI Box fires the engine's ignition system.
