i want to altar my handle bar setup and riser this year. im a ditch banger and i need some help. my friend has the nicest phazer i have ever driven. it has 1 1/8 pro taper bars and a powermadd riser. I want a pivot riser. How tall is the stock phazer riser?? reason i am asking is the sled is at the cabin and i am not there to measure it. How tall can i go, i mean can i get the powermadd pivot adaptor, a 6 or 8 inch riser and the 1 1/8 over size clamp for my bars and have enough cable lenth? also how do i install the guage re location bracket? do i drill and tap my own holes? And adding some pro taper bars... will the stock wiring componets fit up? what about the hand warmers? do i cut off the wiring that goes to the warmers and then after i get my new ones (maybe the yamaheaters) soder back into the connection or plug it into the wiring harness? i dont know about hand warmers but 3inch is as high as a stock phazer will go on the bars. I am 6.4 tall and 3in was perfict. look up lakeeffect thats the place to go for any yamaha riser
