Hi Guys,
I've been thinking about replacing my crappy steel bars with something a little more durable. I have a couple questions regarding hand warming elements and aftermarket handlebar options... any input would be appreciated!
1. Does anybody make warming elements prewired for the Phazer wiring harness? I would like to keep my old bars intact so I can slap them back on when I get ready to sell the sled.
2. I also want to be sure that whatever warmers I buy will be sufficiently warm. Riding is no fun when you are cold! If possible, I'd like to find warming elements that are hot enough to use with aluminum bars?
3. I want to stay with my stock bar riser, so I'm also looking for an aftermarket 7/8" bar with hooks and about an extra 2" of rise. I would prefer aluminum bars but chromoly is probably the only material that I'll be able to find in a 7/8" bar. Any recommendations where I can find a bar like this? I checked RSI, but their riser handlebars do not have hooked ends and I do not want to use the bolt on hooks.
Basically, I'm looking for a plug-n-play solution. I would like to be able to buy some bars, slap on some heating elements and grips, and swap them with the stock bars without needing a different riser or bar adapter and without wiring/soldering/etc.
Thanks in advance!
