Has anyone found a handlebar mount mirror that will work well on 07 Attak. I had EMGO motorcyle mirrors on my 06 but had to bulid a bracket extension to make them wide enough to see well. If anyone has seen any such animal please let me know. Thanks, studdog

Hmmm...roll her over? I haven't rolled a sled ever.

I suspect my tall windshield wouldn't like being upside down either.

I used EMGO MarkII universal mirrors on last years sled. They are similiar to the ones in your post. I've had my dealer order another set and will have to look at how to adapt them to 07 bars. The mirrors attaching rod was not long enough to get them out far enough towards the end of the bars for better visibility. I like the bar mounted mirrors alot, better full range visibility and rock solid, unless you roll your sled alot. I try to keep the rubber side down.

I was wondering if the mounting posts would be long enough. Sounds like they aren't.

Several of my riding buddies went with the Skidoo handlebar mounted mirrors. The problem with them is the opposite. The posts are far too long and you end up unable to close the trailer without loosening the lock nuts and spinning the mirrors down.

No, The Mark II is a nice looking rectangular shape with a nice rubber boot covering the rod. It is not quite long enough when mounted on the inside of the hand controls. Perhaps this year, with the longer bar setup, You might be able to mount them on the other side of control block.

The problem with that is I like my brake lever and throttle as far out as possible because when I'm riding aggressively I tend to hang on to the very end of the handlebars (this is the first sled with hooked bars so it might be a little different though - I expect I'll still need them right against the grips).

We could still always go with Skidoo mirrors.

Here is a link with some pictures of them:

I think I saw pictures of them last year. Mounting looked neat. I'd like a bit more mirror as we run alot on lakes anda wider field of view is nice.

These are Phazer Mirrors.Purchased them without the phazer mounts.
Part #s Are 4GA262801000 &4GA262901000.
Also used these brackets (need L.H. & R.H.)
Sitting on the machine they appear to have a good view of the rear.
Need some snow for a real test. :o| :o|

Now we're talking! That looks like a great option.

Are those standard 10mm universal mounts (one RH and one LH thread)?

Here is a picture I found so we can compare the Phazer mirrors to the universal (EMGO?) mirrors.

I think the Phazer mirror mounting shafts are a more ideal length and place the mirrors where they need to be. My concern with the universals is that it doesn't move the mirrors out far enough. The Skidoo ones have too long a mounting shaft.

I just noticed the universal mirrors you used to have installed have longer mounting shafts (compared to the universal ones pictured above that can be purchased through Royal Distributing). They look like they would work well too. Why did you swap to the Phazer ones?

Are these EMGO mirrors?
