Part #s Are 4GA262801000 &4GA262901000.
Also used these brackets (need L.H. & R.H.)
Sitting on the machine they appear to have a good view of the rear.
Need some snow for a real test.![]()

Where did you get the mounts and do you have a part# for them?

Me too! Please what p/n for bar brackets. Thanks
ReX said:I just noticed the universal mirrors you used to have installed have longer mounting shafts (compared to the universal ones pictured above that can be purchased through Royal Distributing). They look like they would work well too. Why did you swap to the Phazer ones?
Are these EMGO mirrors?

The mirrors I had (EMGO)I found didn't have a very good swivel connection at the mirror. They came loose after an adjustment. The phazer mirrors are a better quality.
The mirror brackets are R.H. & L.H.(r.h.#09-28125--Can't find the other #,but it will be in your dealer's book.I'm pretty sure they are the same as Royals.)

Mirror/Windshield contact
By putting these mirrors on, any issue of the mirror contacting the windshield when making tight turns?

I have the tall windshield and the Phazer (Venture Lite) mirrors and there is no problem with them clearing the windshield.
There is actually a lot of adjustability in that direction so you can move the mirrors where you want.

I talked to My dealer about those Nytro mirrors and he said they will work on My Apex. You will have to get the Nytro hand guards also because thats where the mirrors mount.

TY guys,
Please bare with me while I encourage Yamaha to provide us an OEM RX-1 street bike mirror that has turn signals/flashers/safety LED's (cheap technology) that will take safety while sledding to the next level. If they will listen to us they can be an innovator in this area and they have the technology to do it as we speak... Worse case scenario buy a standard Ski-Doo mirror for their sleds, 20 dollars per side and they work great, between this and my gaggle of Collett's I can keep track of my family and friends as we ride 4-6 weeks a winter in the UP. If anyone can get to Yamaha and encourage them to take up this cause please let me know, I need no credit for this idea, I just don't any more of my sledding friends to die because of these concerns!!!!

I checked the doo mirrors and they are only 34 a pair. They look like a good fit and no ski doo logo. Anybody used these? What did you think?
Also the gaunlets or Mits seem to be mentioned alot. Is anybody using these and do they fit on an Apex?
Thanks

The Yamaha mirrors are not expensive either.
I think I paid something like $30 for the pair of mirrors and another $14 for the universal mounts.
The key is to order just the left and right mirror separately without any mounting kit and then order universal 3rd party motorbike mirror mounts (make sure you order the reverse thread for one side).
