You should feel lucky, you are one of the few that can actually say your handwarmers work the way they're supposed to, therefore, you got a good one in that respect ! Enjoy the new sled ;)!

Mine work fine till it really gets cold. At -15C I found my hands weren't cold but not super warm either. Set of hand guards on order

I have hand guards-worked okay but not great. Bought a set of gauntlets- turning the heat down now- -25f Saturday morning.

Spent week of Jan 19-26 in Hayward, cold I mean cold I've had both updates, one at Hauck one at Pat's they still suck. Tow nites got back to cabin and ran hot water over hands to get feeling back, I mean really come on it can start itself shut itself off and yet the handlebars came right out of the freezer. I love everything else about this machine but it got no heat where I need it most. :o| :4STroke:

My warmers worked great this week-end in Muni but I can tell you this, without the handguards, they wouldn't have been enough, at least on trail 8. I'm catching wind from the armpits up with the Medium windy and the flares.

Mine are a little slow to warm compared with my past Doos but give them a few minutes and they are quite fine for me. And I wear fairly thin gloves - the leather work gloves from Marks Work Wearhouse.
