2014 Viper LTX SE
4600km - 2014
There seems to be a ton of negative comments about the Viper. I am not brand loyal as I have owned them all. Just wanted to report on my 2014 Viper Ltx. I now have about 4000 miles on my sled. This year I added an Ulmers intake kit, clutch kit and programmer. I ride with guys with Axys, 800 Etecs and turbo cats. I am the slowest of the bunch when we hit the lake. But on the trails I am always the guy in the lead. I am always the guy that wants to keep going. I was very happy with the Viper last year, but now with the upgrades I am even happier. If you are looking for a great trail sled with great handling and corner to corner pull then the Viper is your machine. The Polaris Axys has my attention, but the reliability of that Yamaha motor just has me grinning from ear to ear!

So, the snow is here get out and ride and stop complaining!

I have a 2014 ltx se, I too am very pleased with the sled and given the choice I'd pick the same exact sled. Just a couple days ago my starter died out with some grinding noises, very unfortunate and obviously depressing, but thanks to a great warranty and a heads up dealer having the parts on hand, it'll be back on the snow next week.

I think that 3 cylinder yammi motor might be one of the best snowmobile motors ever made---it does it all quietly with good power, durability and fuel mileage. Yes I have owned two 4 cylinder yammis and I think the 3 cylinder is a better trail motor.
