Why is it after my 06 Vector sits for 3-6 weeks it will not start? I have to pull the airbox, cover each carb with my hand, and also prime it. Then it fires. If I just choke it and turn it over after it sits, all it does is just wear the battery down, doesn't even fire.

You sure it is not sitting longer?
I can see 6 weeks maybe causing an issue but 3 weeks shouldn't imo?
Anyways, the gas tank/system needs to be pressurized.
Lots of info in these sections, just have a look as Sab1 just went through this so his post shouldn't be too hard to find.
Good luck.
found it right below your post.

Have you ever changed the plugs in this machine? Fresh gas, strong battery and new plugs is where I would start.

its normal, i usually lift the airbox lid and just give each carb a very slight mist of starting fluid and it starts right up. just a very very slight mist of starting fluid!!!! i have not had any luck with the other tricks.

A dealer mechanic told me the carb bowls dry out fast in some of these sleds due to residual engine heat and over-sized carb vent tubes. I necked my vent tubes down to 1/8" to slow down the evaporation in the bowls. if my sled sits more than a month, I just pull off a gas line next to the fuel pump & manually fill the bowls w/ a small funnel. Pops off every time after that.
