This summer I replaced the plastic steering blocks and the bushings in the spindles. When I put my sled back together I packed all these blocks and bushings with grease. I rode my sled today and noticed that it steers noticably harder than I remember. I am wondering if it is possible to over tighten the bolts on the steering blocks causing harder steering? Maybe I am just used to riding my grizzly all summer with power steering!

It takes a while for the oilite shims to wear in and loosten up.
When I installed mine I just sprayed them with fogging oil.

I just installed a set of Ulmer's bushings. Added grease fittings while at it. Went through those stupid block too. One of them (closest to the brake rotor) was too tight, causing sticking.
Anyway, no hint of binding of any kind in my steering. It's never been this good!
