Has anybody ever tried it? Would/could something get damaged if it was removed.
What would the ride be like? Speculation?
Just thinking about it this AM.

i remember reading that some had removed it to try it and they couldn't keep the front end down. i'm sure someone will chime in that has actually did it.

yeah spending a few minutes looking at it and imagining what it would do.....it would wheelie going forward and dive coming to a stop.

Maybe poke around in the Mtn forum. I know there was talk of it years ago about how to get an Apex to wheelie.
I couldn't imagine cuzin the trails without a transfer rod.

My transfer rod broke half way thru a 3,000 km trip, and couldn't get fixed until I got home. The sled definitely pitches more forward under braking and backwards under acceleration without the transfer rod. Sort of makes you sea sick. Definitely need for trail riding.

My rod just broke last Tuesday and the sled just started pulling up every time you hit the throttle I got home and yep it was broken so I took it out because there was a thread on here awhile ago that said some people take it out on purpose. Went for a ride Thursday and I like it ! It's fun to pull the front off the ground when ever you want , and just let off gas a little or a lot in corners and it turns really well almost better! I was going to start a thread about this but you did so I need to ask will it hurt anything if I keep riding this way ?

I thought about it but I have 2012 Apex XTX with CK and running snowtrackers and just thought losing transfer might not be a good idea for STs. I ended up having Pat's rebuilding my shocks and do have less kick but sure have not eliminated CK kick yet. I liked the momo a lot more than CK.I would love to try one of these but the price is just too high ! are you running one ?
