Has anyone had problems with melting their tracks?

I'm contemplating getting a 162X15X2.5" Camoplast track for my TurboVector but my only concern is possibly melting the track because it will come closer to the top of the tunnel. Anybody have any words of caution or widsom?

I havent melted the track but I have melted the hyfax last year while riding, in the spring conditions, replaced the hyfax, and added a set of ice scratchers and a 3 inch wheel kit from MPI, that goes on the front of the bend on the rails, to reduce hyfax wear, and decrease friction etc, so I hope that his year, I will be good to go 8)
