I have a 159 on the stock skid with rail extensions and extroverts. I think the PO put the extros on wrong because the track rubs at the front right of the rails and is close to the left rear at the same time. Nothing is obviously bent. The only thing I noticed was the track up front is not centered in the tunnel. Also the left extro is 3/4" closer to the tunnel than the right. I suppose this is my problem? If so how do I fix? Do the drivers slide (with a press) on the hex shaft or do then butt up against something? There is what looks like a collar w/set screw on the outside of each one...nothing on the inside. The extros say whal bros on them and the track is a camoplast if that helps. 03 rx1 mtn Thanks!

The drivers are pressed onto the shaft. I switched mine out to extroverts this summer. I centerpunched the shaft to locate centerline of the track before handing it over to the shop. I did have to nudge the drivers closer to the centerline after picking it up. I used some custom tools I had made to install bearings and a two pound mallet to move the drivers.

Do a search on here or Snowest for extrovert spacing. I pressed on my new Wahl drivers this summer and had to do the same. Heck, Wahl Brothers has the measurements on their website for each repsective sled.

Yes, a press may be needed to move them.

Good luck

Thanks! I found some info using those keywords. Too bad I have to take the axle off...guess it's a good time to replace the bearings.

Took it all apart and pressed both drivers 3/8" to the right. Track is now parallel to the rails and no more rubbing or thumping noises.

Also repacked the jackshaft bearing...wanted to replace but not in stock at the dealer. Did a thorough cleaning of the chaincase and found a washer missing on the reverse idler shaft. I feel much better now knowing the condition of that part of the sled. Thanks again!
