I have a GoPro camera that I would love to mount on my nytro at a lower level rather than have a birds eye view as it looks on my helmet.

Has anyone mounted one on and if so what is the quality. does it just bounce around??

:jump:

We mounted a countour hd on a quad and it was pretty good but quads dont run as fast as sleds do thru the woods.

I have the go pro and the go pro HD. I have never mounted the camera directly on my dirt bike/sled. always have it on my helmet. Im sure if you look on youtube there are some videos of the camera mounted on the machine.

I mounted mine on the car before. 120mph later and its still there. Thats with the suction cup mount too.

I mounted mine on the hood of the Nytro, on the flat part just in front of the headlite. Worked really well, had the tips of the skis in the corners of the frame. When you accelerate out of corners is really cool. It is more stable and less vibration than on my helmet.

If you get HD Theater check out the TORC off road racing on thursday nights. They use the go pro cameras and get some unbelievable shots with a whole lot of thrashing and crashing.

I have mine mounted on my Grizzly. I drilled a hole in the center of the mounting tab and rivited just to make sure I didn't lose it. Works Great!

Suction cup mount held all day long on the side of my nytro. You have to mount it to a smooth area like over a sticker. Does not hold to the textured panels.
