- 2009 Yamaha Phazer RTX
I'm thinking of purchasing a Mountain Assault seat and wondering if anyone has one or has ridden a phazer with one installed. The seat is a little thin for trail riding, I thought this would be a good upgrade.

Wow that looks really nice.Let us know how it works.

Why would you want to sit higher on the phazer? I was contemplating removing the cover and shaving a couple of inches off the seat hight to help with COG.

Looks like it has Temporpedic type faom (memory foam) which is VERY nice but I sure would prefer a lower seat. Im 5'9" and rack the goods every time I landed a big jump but I will admit that Im used to a lower quad seat and flex my legs alot when I land. I sure wouldnt want higher though, does it say that its higher?

The seats are cushy so you won't get all the height out of it but it will be more comfortable and wider.
