every time I have bought from Hauck I have gone slower and have had grief !!!!

I've had a bit of experience with pat...and I can tell you... one they definately color with crayolas... and two....unless you spend big money and have them do everything they want ...you wont know the details needed to make their crap work right...thy spoon feed you details on their stuff so you dont have enough info to make it run the way they claim

Summed that one up exactly

Im sure other people have felt like in order to get any information, you preety much had to put the words in their mouth.

I bought a complete (big bore )engine, brand new ,
modded , carbs , ign , pipes , clutch's (both) from Hauck , would not beat a stocker, he said it something I was doing wrong !!
After 2 months of screwing around I told PAT HAUCK , I will pay his way to fly to Dynotec and we , togeather will dyno it , IF is my fault I will pay his trip , wages , expenses , etc !
But if it is his fault Jim @ Dynotec will publish the results and Pat would have to refund all my money on the spot !!
He sent me a cheque ! full refund !!
I sent him his junk back collect !!!!!!! true story !!!!

I can tell you from having a crap load of bikes and modding all of them and I am sure anyone else on here with real dyno experience will agree. You will make very little top end power with any 4 stroke, I have done a crap load of mods differnt exhausts helped do alot of them on the dyno. Adding just an exhaust on a 4 stroke might gain you 2 HP on top I say might. The correct exhaust can however make big improvements (OK maybe even 10) I have even seen some cheap exhaust lose power in certain spots (anyone into bikes will remember the old vance and hines noise makers LOL) But if you tune to the exhaust I have yet to see one lose HP from stock. So back in the carb days a stage 1 or stage 3 jet kit jetted change out the springs drill out the jets for the slides and rejet etc etc you could make it better on a stock exhaust but any decent aftermarket exhaust would be an improvement. I have a Busa now and a PC II so its even easier to fine tune it on the dyno. I have yet to put a sled on the dyno so i cant speak to that. I can tell you out of the box my RTX against my buddies stock Apex I can smoke him anywhere. from stop rolling top end etc I have a Hauck exhaust helix primary spring and fuel processor. I have a ram air kit from another person online and thats it no clutch kit at all yet. I dont know about other kits, but I think mine goes better than stock.

I have known Pat for years. I bought one sled from him way back in 1989. I knew him from drag racing before Hauck Power Sports existed. He tends to alter the truth for sure. I can't deny that. Funny thing is, he still gets alot of business. I don't usually buy anything from him basically because he always charges top dollar for it.
