Hauck power up kit for attack or apex

just wondering if anyone has tried the power up kit for hauck. looks like they use an air box mod and a fuel management system. would like to know if there is any real gains. thanks

I believe Nos Pro tried it and I heard it gave hime 6 10ths on the ashphault in the 1/4 mile. It does not increase top end, but it does give it fuel on the bottom and mid and the Apex is pretty lean in those areas and is fat on the top end. This is all from what I have been told and this pertains only to the Fuel Management part and not the airbox mod.

The fuel controller works great, and after seeing another members sled with a fuel/air ratio gage on his Apex, was showing an immediate increase/decrease when changing the settings.

I gained close to a half second with just putting the Fuel controller on, and giving it more fuel on the bottom and top end. The nice thing is you can even use it with stock components, like I have on the attak now.

bteliminator is the member in munising with the whole Hauck kit....pipe/air mod/fuel controller/clutching. He was fast last year, and now that he has it really tuned, he justs screams now!

Terry, does it come pre-set from Hauck? If it is, is it a good setting or did you need to reallyt screw with it? Do you have to tune it to make it run? Also, does it lean out the stock curve or just add fuel to the stock curve?

i ran a guy with the hole kit with my stock attack and walked him. he reclutched and went out he was a little closer but at 70mph i started to walk away.

btelimater11 sled hauls butt.I know another guy with the whole kit and he can't get over 105 on the speedo.Idon't think he has it tuned properly but Like nos-pro said btelimater sleds hauls the mail.

Hauck will preset one to what your mods are, but is very easily done yourself. It will only add fuel, or with all the led's to the left will be back to stock settings. It will not take away fuel from stock setting. If you get one, and need help,....just pm me, and I will walk you through it.

I have the whole Hauck kit, tuned by Pay himself, and I had 127mph on the ol dream o meter last weekend. He used my sled when testing his air box mod.

NOS PRO---I have the 06 RTX and am thinking about putting it on the bottel with this Hauck kit. Can you do this? What kit would be best for me? I know kits that I've seen from Boss have a fuel chip with them.

my attak is stock except for excell pipe, and bte was definately faster.... he had me by at least 3 lengths the first race, second i got him out of the hole (may have jumped a tiny bit) and then he passed me down the strectch, i would say it works, but just like anything else, there will always be someone faster....

My results were with a stock airbox, and White Knuckle AP3 exhaust.

Currently running thru the stock exhaust at the same settings, and still getting good results.
