Have those racing the RX-1 determined ultimate TPS setting?

I remember adjusting the voltage on my RX-1 throttle position sensor last season several times after Supertuner (at least I believe it was Supertuner) wrote about the benefits of moving the "flame front" forward in the combustion process to increase low end perfromance.
I also remember that by increasing the bottom end one could adversely affect top end potential.
I was just wondering if any of you asphalt or grass draggers have continued with experimenting with the TPS?
I would just LOVE to know what you consider as the ultimate TPS setting? I believe mine is slightly advanced over the stock 03 setting.
I am wondering if I should move it and if the 04 and 05 TPS setting were altered from what came stock on the 03 models?
Thanks

I believe last year guys were saying that if you want quickest to 100mph go with 4.0 at WOT..

If you are looking for top speed leave it alone!!

Thanks Weltracer. That's what I seem to remember as well. I'll have to look at my notes from last season to see where I set mine.
I have a RX-1 mountain so going to an actual 100 mph would be wonderful :D
I just thought maybe someone might have played around with the setting to determine where they achieved their best acceleration.
Does anyone know if the 04 or 05 RX-1 have a different factory setting?

I heard the same, and that 7.2 was the magic number, but I left mine alone.

NOS-PRO thanks for the 7.2 info. I think I'd best do a search to learn a little more on the subject. Could one of you with an 04 or 05 check to see what your TPS voltage is set at from the factory?
I really think there's enough to gain by changing this setting to make worthwhile for all of us.

Don't go by a MPH judgement. Go by a distance judgement. For short sprint style drag races like 500 feet on grass and 660 feet on ice set the TPS to one (1) volt with the throttle closed. I forget what it is when at WOT. For longer distances (anything beyond 660 feet) leave it stock. You should see between .710 to .760 in stock setting.

Will a polaris plug-in work for the TPS on the RX and RS machines? I have the Polaris TPS adapter(that plugs directly into a voltmeter). Will this work or is there an easier way to get the reading?

Anyone know the OEM settings for a RS?

Thanks SUPERTUNER!

Yes thanks Freddie. So, if one was wanting a little better bottom end and not wanting to pay too dearly on the top end is a setting of .870 a good compromise for a guy on a mountain sled who perhaps sometimes rides trails; or is the stock setting the way to go?
Thanks again for the great info. Frosty
