2006 Attak overheated while towing a long-track sled in powder. After allowing it to cool off, towing continued with occasional blips of the red light with engine and temp indicators lit.
Coolant was checked after completely cooling and was fine.
A couple rides later (100+ miles) it has an intermittent problem. The warning light comes on with the temp and engine indicators, and then the gauge resets (mph goes zero, tach sweeps to zero, display blanks out). Then it shows literally "Err cd - 1", then sometimes "Err cd - 2", and then "64".
Have any of you seen this?
Do any of you know the diagnostic procedures real well?
I can read the manual and follow the procedures, I just have only done it once before on this system.
I am at the Muni ride if any of you here can help.

My next steps are to do a complete visual check of all related wiring, and fuses. Then I will begin testing the coolant system components.
The thermostat appeared to be working - Once the housing got too hot to hang onto very long, it would open (hoses below, and radiator, exchangers would warm up). The fan isnot coming on at all, so I will focus on that first. However, it seems that it shouldn't affect cooling at speed.
Any help is welcome.

Run with out the right side body panel and see if that helps. This happen to my 06 rtx, the fan was bad, I put in a new fan and put in vents, have yet to have a issue.
