Have you taken off your hood mounted powder deflectors?

Guys, I broke off one of my little plastic powder deflector wings the other day. I didn't notice anymore powder in my face without it and I'm wondering if you have taken yours off or lost yours?

I can go ahead and order one if the general consensus is they actually do some good but, if they don't I'll just take the other one off and call it good.

I'am surprised yours lasted this long! I still have both but they have been with my extra parts since 04! I realy think they do little if any good. Just think of the FREE weight loss!

I wont buy another one, but for me, they were good

I saw a pair of these go for an absurd amount of $ on Ebay recently. Made me want to dig them out of the parts box and list 'em. Won't be putting them back on though...

you're saying that as if it is a bad thing to have powder in your face


I took mine off and left them off and it was fine.

Took them off long ago, never missed them. Apex doesn't have them. If powder is going to go over the hood, it's going to go over the hood. That's a good thing.

I took mine off when I put my diamond s hood on and didn't notice a difference
