I removed my chain case cover to inspect inside, cleaned up gasket and reinstalled cover. Then i put the locking collar on the jackshaft. I was looking at the service manual and in the parts break down it does not show a spacer between the brake rotor and the locking collar but my sled seemed to have one. So i reinstalled that spacer then the rotor then a thicker washer/spacer then went to put on the sir clip and there is not enough room to seat it in the groove. I would have to grind off the thickness of the sir clip off the washer/spacer to make it work. Is there a spacer that should go between the locking one and the rotor? I checked every where and cant seem to find a problem. I was assembled like that before.

Same thing happened to me the first time i took mine apart...the problem was i was trying to put the rotor on backwords. I flipped it around and everything fit perfectly!

the thick washer goes inside and tyhe thin out

No he has it right-locking collar-thick spacer-rotor-thick washer-thin washer(s). Rotor prob on ackwards like above post said or locking collar not pushed in all the way. And it's a circlip not sirclip, funny sounds laike a manclip!

I just did mine it was locking colar thick spacer rotor thin spacer 2 thin washers and c clip. Be nice to know what sled he is talking about

06 apex gt and sorry about the spelling. I have it in the correct order and the rotor is the right way. Ended up grinding .070" off the thin spacer

are you sure the locking colar slode over the tiny O ring all the way. I had to tap mine on
