Have reservations made at Whitetail Lodgeing on lake Gogebic 27th of Jan 8 of us from western minn. This will be my 4th time staying there. called tonite and Phil says the trails are rideable

just got back, they are definatly rough. hell i was afraid to ride at all aggressive, mostly just putted around, but it was nice to at least take the sled for a little spin . Hopefully they get some descent snow within the next two weeks so the wife and myself can do our backpack trip.

Where did you ride when you were up there? My wife and I put on 140 miles Sunday, we rode out from Watersmeet up to Whitepine and back over to Rockland then back to the truck.There was a few rough spots but had a lot of smooth trails.We even saw the groomers out.
Watch out by Brucecrossing because they have not groomed anything yet their trails really sucked.
We need more snow.

I went from watersmeet to the top of lake gogebic down to ironwood and back to watersmeet.the trails were pretty good untill we got near ironwood,then they wre REALLY bad.i bet i passed 1200 sleds from ironwood to watersmeet.they were nonstop almost all the way.shane
