Ok need help . Which pipe should i go with? They all seem to be about the same in hp aaen says 8 excell and mbrp are 7 .. Excell is the highest in price aaen the cheapest . So what do you guys think? Want to order one in the morning have trail tank to put on.

excell has the most experience....excell's is stainless steel...they also state their power gains on the conservative side...8 h.p. out of an excel header is possible...

Id go excell

the problem is many have had with hauck is the lack of information for tuning and not taking responsibility when something doesnt work right....

The Hauck gives up way to much power on the bottom end, from what I am told...

Make your own decision.. Call each and talk to them. Each are informative. If you have no facts to back up what you say then do not leave comments. Sewing circle of whining Men/girls.. LOL

actually each are not informative...ulmer is...excell is ...aaen is...Hauck is not..call up and ask what one of their helixes are if youre trying to tune a sled...good luck...their own sleds are fast for sure...but they arent respected anymore from the guys i know who have spent money and myself included..if anyone wants to hear facts Id be glad to supply through p.m.'s..

the excell seems to me to have the most dyno time and tuners behind it..(ulmer) excell themselves and hurricane performance...the Aaen looks promising but is regular steel and coated (durability and weight a ? )and has some pretty large bends... mbrp has no dyno reports...hauck supplies no dyno info...

no whining just facts... all would try to sell their own products if called so its the happiness of the previous customers that means more ...I doubt you'll get one negative comment about excell / ulmer so that's telling..

yes, haucks looks really nice. I may be purchasing his.

you already have a header dont you?

Yes i do, but i dont like how it fits. its hitting against one of my tunnel protectors...not sure why, now had a big dent in it from it so i may be getting new one.

if you have miles...check your exhaust donuts and the hanger cap screws...the header will move side to side if this happens...

also..Ive known guys who had welds come loose with excell...he stands behind his stuff and repaired / replaced for free... plus ulmer is a top notch site advertiser!

ill have to check out the donuts and see if they are worn if we get some warm weather where i get some time to rip sled apart. again lol

Anyone know if he is replacing or fixing the headers that are cracking or the weld is coming off?? I can weld it back up at the shop but if they are getting them replaced it may be worth it to take it off.

SJ, Sounds like you answered your own question. Aaron has a great prduct with a great reputation and a support staff to back his product up. Go with the Excell, you will not be disappointed.
