Ok operators manuel says seat warmer switch on page 3 for sr viper and ltx models,my ltx se does not have the heater switch there.

Ltx se didn't come with a heated seat. Only the base models got them. Doesn't make sense to me.

The heated seat comes standard on the xf7000. Not sure about the base model cats but that's how it should be. The se model vipers should have no doubt came with it and then be offered on the base models for an upgrade

Why? You can add it to your SE as an accessory just as easily.

For an extra couple hundred $ you can add it. In my opinion it should have came standard on the se. I'm sure everyone that paid the extra to get the se thinks the same way.

You paid extra for the powder coating and the Float 3's not a heated seat. It would have come standard for another couple hundred bucks I guess.

Along your line of thinking though it would have been nice if Yamacat had offered some customization options to pre-orders (like heated seats) installed by the factory for an up-charge.

The heated seat kit includes a new black cover, I do believe you can put the heating element on top of the original cover. It comes with a new wiring harness, and someone gets to cut a square hole in the body work on the left side, slightly behind the handle bars for the switch. Sure looks like fun to me.

Couldn't agree more. No doubt that I will not be putting the heated seat on mine. Never had a heated seat on a sled before or even though about it but I guess if my $42k truck can have heated seats then my $11k sled should have it too.

SE stands for the greek Solce Edictivus "without seat heat" come on man - you did not know this?

I am actually glad mine is not coming with it - think of the weight savings, must be in the order of 4 ounces! I am thinking of removing the graphics also - another 5.25 ounces GONE!
