I have a little weight problem. I bought a set of heavy hitters HHY48 from Thunder products and the weight on those was 1=0.9g 2=2.4g 3=4.5g.

Do i need more weigth.......

KN racing will send me new one´s HHY53

Anyone that can tell me or have similar problems with the weights.

I need some help to tune in the hitters.

Original 2008 MTX

If your sled is not boosted you have lots of adjustment. The hh,s need usually 10 grams less then stock 4 stroke weights due to the more aggressive shift curve.

Thanks!

The original stock is 65 grams so i need only 55g.
I measured HHY48 with the weight on it and come up to 59g. It didn´t work.
I need to work with this.........
Maybe the new one´s fit the profile better HHy53.

I'm trying my old Heavy hitters this year. I haven't run it yet but I have the 48's loaded to 59 grams. Might be a tad heavy but we'll see. I want it to pull 9200 rpm with the pipe then pull down to about 8900 on a climb.

Any one have the best setup for the 48gram set. stock nytro mtx. Which bolt/screw in what hole and washers?? about 1000ft to 3000 ft

Thanks

I have a setup for Sweden that works.
Heavy hitters 53,2gr
Hole no.1 1.2gr
Hole no.2 3.0gr
Hole no.3 5.8gr
My rev is now 8700-8800rpm and in deep snow around 8200-8300. I still have some adjustment to do but it runs like hell.
