Can someone explain the difference between a MULTI-ANGLE, COMPUND AND DALTON "r" HELIXES. I was under the impression that multi and compund angles are identical and I'm told that Dalton "r" helixes have a much shorter duration of first angle compared to the multi and/or compund helix??? :? :? :? :? :? :?

The Dalton R helix,s go directly from 1 angle to another. For example a 52R46 will hold a straight 52 degree angle for about 1/4 of the shift & then go directly to a 46 degree angle. A multi-angle helix has a gradual slope from one angle to another. a 52/46 regular helix will start at a 52 degree angle & gradually taper off to a 46 degree.
