Chatterbox 5 milers. Been running the gmsx1 for years. Just ordered the new x1slims about 1 hour ago....very similar with more features as old ones, and 1/2 the size.

The Scala won't give you the distance and durability. I went with Chatterbox's X1's. Recommended by a Moderator here after using different brands He was right. They are rugged and work well. My neighbor just bought 2 of them after using Colettas and like them as well.
I dropped mine in a large water hole last winter and they were fogged out and woudn't work but after they dried out they worked fine still.
The battery lasts all day long in 0 deg weather too. X1 Slims do the same and are the newest from Chatterbox. Lot's of accessories for them as well.
