Ok, am i the only person with a MTN apex that keeps snapping rear skid shocks?? i just snapped another one today and that makes 2 in less than 500 miles...the first one was my fault but this second one snapped just during normal trail riding here in SE MN....i know this sled isnt a trail sled but i would think it owuld be able to handle normal trail riding without snapping shock shafts clean in half...im curious if there is a different option as far as a rear shock i could put in besides a crappy stock one...does fox make a float i could throw in there??? and if i use a different shock do i need to use those support bars that are on the stock skid that go next to the stock shock??? any other ideas? i cant afford to keep putting shocks into this thing nor can i afford a better skid...thx in advance
I did stiffer rear springs which helped a lot until I did a Timbersled skid.
