Help...Helix installation

I really don't think that MNBlizzard should do these things. He sounds like he has no clue, I don't know maybe he does but it sounds like he doesn't. Turk certinly know what is what- Listen to the man, if you didn't want the help why did you ask??

Hey, Slow... :moon: thanks for your criticism. You're close, I don't know what exactly does what but I do have an understanding. And, unlike you, Turk has helped me tremendously. If you have nothing nice to say...

Turk,
I do have the hammertimes. HC standard recommendations are to run 3.3grams in the shoulder and tip only which I did. I'm sure the cobra track is gripping better than the stock cone, thus higher engagement. So, I will try adding 2.0g as you recommended to the shoulder tonight for a total of ~5.3grams in the shoulder. What engagement do think I should shoot for? I'm almost there! :Rockon:

MNBlizzard, I'm just saying the way your posts read you are not listening to what turk has to say, thats all. I hope you get it straightened out soon, winter will be over before we know it. Good luck and have fun with your upgrades.

Please refrain from calling people names, I did not call you any names I was just stating an observation, and never said anything that was not nice.

your tip weight should be empty, 4 washers on each heel, secondary at 1-6 with black spring, should give 4k engagement on tach and 10900 on excell.(my apex kills with this setup)

Empty in the tip huh??? I guess I would like 4-4.5k engagement and will try this if the additional weight in the shoulder doesn't bring it down.

You had your weight in the inner hole not the heel. the heel is the moveable part & thats where the weight needs to be. I had the best luck running all the weight in the heel & the rest of the weight empty in my attak

Ok, heel? tip? not sure of this language, but what I do know is what HC calls each slot in their manual. See attached below. I'm running 5.8g in each shoulder and 3.3 in the tip. I still have a high engagement around 5k and some belt burning along with some primary belt noise at idle.

heel = shoulder.
those are the 40/10Y hc,s
run 5.8 grams in the shoulder (heel)
put 3.2 grams in the tip but i think you should put another gran in(1 washer)
Run your stock pink secondary spring at 6 & 1.

if your using the white hc primary spring (you should be) engagement should be about 4200 rpm on the tach

I like to run the apex/attak at 4k engagement; holeshot at 10k rpm,s climbing to 10,700 at top speed for best performance

wow...me tired!!!!

I got it setup just like you stated: HC white primary spring, stock secondary, 5.8 in heel and 3.2 in tip. I'm running it like this for a bit as I'm sick of wrenching . Thanks for all your assistance Turk. You are the MAN!
