I wear an MX helmet and goggles.

I have the 509 Sinister goggles http://www.509films.com/optics/new/

My eyes freeze! I get so much wind around my eyes that they water.

Any ideas?! I have the grandpa windshield too!!! Anyone else use these goggles?

Thanks guys,

It possble you letting to much mostier in but not out. You can buy a breath box itwill cover over your mouth and nose to deflect your breathing down. If you cheap you can use tape or you can by this specail strips that do the same thing. The tape and the strip to go over the nose then bridge to the helmet. The breath box go inside the helmet over your nose. I have use tape to secure my balaclava to my face (so it dont move down), then the stips to the helmet becaues it wont need to be cut to size. I have the breath box to but never use it. I found itrides on the nose right were my googles sit and it pushes down my balaclava.

I use scoots motocross googles for over cast day (almost like the hustels), they are clear but have a bluish tint when you were them. Sunny days these http://www.steelmx.com/snow/chromeltd.html.

You can't have any leaks with the almighty 509s! lol. Do you wear a 'half mask'? I wear glasses so i actually glued some foam on and trimed a little off my goggles to seal a little better.
I fog my glasses right away with a full balcalva.

are you breathing heavy??????????? that could be enough moisture to help freeze ya,

i ride with a full face, with the shield open 1/2 the time with no windshield

no fog problems, just WIND in my eyes!

I will try to seat my goggles better

same here.

i'd try to add something to the top ridge of the goggles. (where the foam is)

HJC Helmet, 509 Sinister goggles no breath box. I don't have any fogging issues, just wind in the eyeball.

I am going to try closing off a vent and see what happens.

Thanks guys

I just bought a No-Fog mask. A buddy had told me about them, and it seems to be working fantastically, no fogging when sweating or anything like that...

I THINK THE BREATH BOX HELPS WITHT THE WIND GETTING INTO THE HELMET....woops sorry about the caps...thru the mouth part.. i also wear a t-shirt sleeve on my head i cut off an old t shirt and the other sleeve on my neck and chin. like a turtle neck... i also warm my goggles up with the exhaust off the sled.. just hold them infront of the pipe for a miniute or two

Don't you guys tape up your helmets for the winter? Most are made to cool your head with forced air flow. I use foam and tape. Heck, i get popsicle lips in fall on the quad without it taped! lol.
