I am looking for info on what way to go for a clutch kit for my 07 apex gt, being new to yamaha I am not up on witch way to go. In my own research I am leaning towards an Ulmer stage 2 kit but at $375 I want to get some feedback from experienced yamaha riders before making a final decision any help or info from anyone would be appreciated.

Ulmer is a good guy and will stand behind his product and give great setup tips. IMHO unless you love to launch hard out of the hole and will stud accordingly to allow it to hookup I recommend you try the sled first. Yamaha has really done a nice job in the clutching area. I think you may surprised.

I know you have an RTX now. It's really the smae sled It's just a 121
with alot less traction.

Id hardly call 5.5 inches of track footprint ALOT less. Its all in setup...BBY
BBY, I sent you a PM, did you recieve it yet? What's a good time to give you a call. I agree it's all in the setup, but stock for stock, the 136 is quicker.
