Which models have a split throttle block that can be installed on hooked bars? I think pretty much all of the 4-strokes but can't really tell for sure. After some time searching the parts catalog and looking at sleds I think I will just ask.
I am retrofitting hooked bars on a Viper so will obviously have to rewire the plugs. But as long as I use the 1 into 2 throttle cable (2004 and newer Vipers) I am hoping I can retrofit the throttle block.
I think I need one with thumb warmer, kill switch, and TORS switch and I should be good to go. Don't need the rocker switch for thumb warmer, etc. but it wouldn't hurt anything not hooked up. How about the 2007 and newer Phazer throttle block? Would that be a good option?
Has anyone ever measured the throttle pull distance on these blocks (how far the cable pulls)?

Ding - I thought the last year vipers (2stroke!) were made they used that two into one cable with the new style split block - I would think this would be a direct fit for what your doing - give me a call at the shop and ill check into it for you.
You can use the stock throttle block from a Viper. Just need to cut out a V section behind the thumb throttle area.
Strip the block of its kill switch and TORS switch.
Dunk the block in boiling water for a few seconds and then slide it on the bars.
Plastic weld the V section back in.
Now you can use the Viper cables and wiring.
