Ive been carving in powder quite a bit recently. a Few time I tiped her on its side ( cluch side down ) usally when i Did this the front packed full of snow etc.. I would then tip the sled back over and try n take off. my Belt would slip to the point where the sled wouldnt move. I dose not seem like water had enuff time to enter the cluches but im assuming this can only be the problem. has anyone had this same problem? and how did they fix it? I boondock alot and just cant have this.

More than likely it's because your clutches were in a higher gear when you stopped. If you can't get the rear end up to spin the track you'll have to move the belt back to it's start position by hand. Smoked a belt last season on my Attak doing the very same thing ;)!

I did the same thing last week up by Clayton Lake. I didn't lay the sled down but I stopped after running in the deep stuff with some other guys. I was about 4 sleds back so I wasn't breaking trail and had been moving 30 to 40 MPH. Sled had been fine, no slipping, no noise and no smell.

When I went to take off again, it wouldn't move. It would just squawk. I took the belt guard off and the secondary was wide open with the belt all the way into the clutch. I took it off and inspected the belt. It was fine. Put it back on and rolled the clutch while pulling the belt up to the top and it never bothered again.

Weird!
