just picked up a 09 xtx and have a some questions. so any and all pros and cons are welcome. i did get to put 450 miles on it last week and i felt more comfortable on it as the miles clicked off.
1. what RPM should i see at wide open, it was showing 9000 +/- 100 and ran 108 mph down a smooth RR grade.
2. would slydogs be a good upgrade for ski's? on my vector i put woodies dooly's carbides on and that helped the darting a ton and made the steering lighter so i might go that route here.
3. how is the hyfax wear, replace mine when i got home, but should have before the trip. put a pioneer performance wheel kit on my vector so maybe i should go that way here also.
4. can you all make it snow at least 1 more time in iowa so i can put some more miles on this winter? maybe march will blast us one more time.
i am thinking i am going to like this sled alot...its not as plush of a ride as my 06 vect gt but for trail riding and the ability to goof off off trail in meadows, fire roads ect it is what i was looking and hoping for.

hyfax wear is poor in places, but seems to wear quickly and then stay put for a while. I see right around 9000 wide open stock so i guess that close enough. I am running the powderhounds on my sled, i enjoy them muchly! I hope i get more snow this season too, save the driving!
