High beams won’t stay on

i got a weird problem but hopefully a simple fix. Sometimes my high beams won’t stay on. I’ll push the button and they will click on for a second and then go back to the low beams. I have to click the button 15 - 20 times before they stay on. Hen the next time I’ll click it one time and it works. Is there some kind of relay for the high beams?

I'd say there is a problem with the latching mechanism in the switch.

x2 on the switch. had to get one warenteed on my 05 as it was doing the same thing.
