My 06 apex has 21000+ miles on it now, and now it's starting to show it. I should have checked on this a year or two ago. The rivets joining the tunnel to the center section on the clutch side have loosened up and worked around the rivets and enlarged the holes some what to the point the tunnel was shifting up and down a bit.
I fixed that at the beginning of the season, an added about 25 extra rivets all over that area.
Recently I was getting a bad vibration in the chassis so I checked it over and found the rivets below the primary on the same center side panel that connects to the cast section at the front were also loose. This area flexed quit alot before a replaced all those rivets and added a whole bunch more.
I don't think there is enough rivets in the first place to hold thses heavy beast together. When ever I replace this apex with the next one, itr will get a big dose of extra rivets right from the get go.

What a piece of junk! Falling apart at 21000 miles. Just kidding.
Seriously, you're bound to come across such issues after that many miles.
Thanks for the heads up.
