Just got my riser the other day.
its a Rox riser,
Powermadd has the same thing(made by rox, but
powdercoated black and labelled Powermadd)
I got it from http://www.rsiracing.com/
Its a 2 inch version, any higher and the throttle cable will
need to be extended.
throttle cable has to be rerouted as can be seen in the picture

Instead of getting a 2" riser, one could install some alum, handle bars with maybe a CR-high bend in them... That would bring up the bars quite a bit, seeing as stock bars have almost no upward bend in them.
That's what I wanted to try, would be lighter and clean looking.
Only thing is that the grip warmers look riveted on... do they remove easily?

I got some bars off an 06 vector Mtn. They work perfect, and the hand warmers plug right in. Also they have a higher bend than the mtn lite bars do.

Phazed.... what about the brake cables, does it look like there is some extra slack in them? I want to probalbly add 3-4" compared to the stock height. I've got a pivot block, 9" risers and pro taper bars going on mine.

The Brake line seemed to have plenty more slack, I wasn't interested in looking for anymore once I saw it would work.
The brake line can be slightly rerouted from what I could see in that little engine bay.
The throttle cable pretty much, goes straight down
to the throttle body.
Its quite the process to get in there to see what your working on. Who would have thought you'd have to remove your seat to install a bar riser...

When I get My 07 update Attak bars I'm going to put them on the Mtn Lite. I don't need the suicide strap ahhhhhh? I mean mountain strap. I'll have hooks and probably gain about a inch in height over the stock Mtn. Lite bars.

has anyone had trouble with the throttle cable being to short or the brake lines when installing a riser or pivot?

2 inches is about all you'll get with the throttle.(and you have to reroute the cable under the bar instead of the stock "over the bar" location
The others are fine.
