Horrible midrange on an 05 Warrior, any idea's??

I just picked up an 05 Warrior with 3,200 miles. She idles fine now and when I looked at it and seemed to run good. Sled was at a storage facility so I didn't get a chance to take her out for a run. Got it home and took her out in the field behind my house and what a dog. It's definately has issues in the mid range. Any one have any idea's? It did take a 200 mile ride home on my trailer. I put it on a track stand and you can see it on the tach starting to hesitate at around 5 grand. For the hell of it I threw in a new set of plugs and no difference.

I wonder if the slides in the carbs are hanging up......

Pull the carbs and give them a good cleaning and make sure that all of the jets are in the correct location and size. Also make sure that the needle clips are in the correct groove. 05 should have the updated coils!
