After 5 miles today tried to adjust my electric shock on my 06 apex gt no illustration of shock only hand warmers .Kept trying it several times over the next 100 miles problem still there .Also noticed hand warmers got so hot that they had to be turned down ,which i never had this year with the new bars.Tried them several times ,too hot on high !!! .After 100 miles of hard running another problem my rear suspension got hard as a rock with 0 movement ??? .It has been in a heated garage for the last 2 hrs same results .I did`nt check the shock wiring yet .Has anyone had this problem???.Thanks in advance!!!

If the shock icon won't illuminate, the wires have become disconnected from the shock. There is a new recommendation for routing the wires to make them less likely to become damaged from `06 to `07. Your dealer should have the new routing method. When it becomes unhooked, It defaults to a medium dampening.
But if your shock has become rock hard, it might have gotten ice inside of it somehow. Otherwise just make sure you got low temp grease in the suspension. Regular grease make the rear end real stiff in cold weather.
Hope this helps.

you should let us know which bars you are talking about....more info in your posts will help.
If you say "new bars" meaning the 07 update bars...then youre one of the only ones who thinks they are hot...was it mild out?..were you trail riding?...did you foam them?....more info
I agree it sounds like shock is disconnected...check wiring in suspension..they had issues .

you should let us know which bars you are talking about....more info in your posts will help.Broken wire on shock ,works fine now! Found why rear suspension got stiff , the weight transfer rod separated and the female part turned under the suspension resulting in cut track down the middle, bent and mangled tranfer rod . I"m woundering why after 3,000 miles the jam nut would back off and let the rod separate , factory setting has never been touched. The cut on the inside of the track is down to the steel bars around the whole track ,wondering if this thing will hold together or is the track scrrrraappp!!! On the up side the hand warmers after the shock wire broke got real hot all day ,even too hot while running old rail bed for 30 miles at high speeds.Yes i have the 07 bars with the foam and the temp was -15c ,on high after running hard at high speeds i stopped and the rubber was getting soft on the bars ,more so on the left !!! I"m in the garage business but not a electrical wizard like some of you guys !!! Any ideas ???thanks for the feedback...

IMO, I would replace the track. I'm sure if there aren't any broken chords in the rubber, it would be okay for a short while, but with as high performance as these sleds are, I wouldn't feel comfortable riding it and wondering if it's coming apart under me! If you were to not ride over 35-40 mph, maybe... but safety should come before budget.
